A camera that blurs faces the moment you shoot.
A camera app that automatically detects and blurs faces immediately after capture, for people who want to photograph a place or an event without photographing the people in it. Built natively for both Android and iOS.
Photographing a wedding hall, a classroom or a family gathering means capturing faces that should not be captured. Editing them out afterwards means the unblurred original existed, was stored, and possibly synced to a cloud backup before you got to it.
Halal Camera closes that window: detection and blurring happen right after capture, on the device, so the file that reaches storage is already filtered.
Problem
The natural implementation saves the photo, then processes it. That leaves the original on disk, where a gallery scanner or a cloud backup can pick it up before it is replaced.
Solution
Processing happens on the in-memory frame before anything is persisted, so the only file that ever exists on disk is the filtered one.
